Footloose: Youth Edition Audition Information
Audition Schedule
What is An Initial Audition?
An initial audition is when you show a prepared audition to the production team (Ms. Nickell) individually. These auditions will take place over the course of two days, BUT you will only need to come to ONE of these days. Please indicate on the sign-up sheet which day you would like to come. For this audition, you should be prepared to sing any song with which you are familiar with a karaoke track. This is just so I can hear your voice!
You should bring the karaoke track and your audition form into the room.
Initial auditions will take place Monday and Tuesday in the Theatre room. Auditions will conclude at or before 6 PM. You may leave after your audition. You do not need to stay for the full two hours.
If you are invited to callbacks, they will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in the cafeteria on the stage. Wednesday callbacks will be a dance all where you will audition in groups. You can learn the choreography with the videos here.
Thursday callbacks will be vocal selections from the show - you will sing individually. You will get callback material at initial auditions. Callbacks will conclude at or before 6 PM. If invited to callbacks, you should plan to stay for the full two hours.
