About Our Program
Art is an amazing year-long class that challenges students to use their problem-solving skills, higher-order thinking, creativity, and imagination daily. Teachers work with students to build confidence and artistic skill sets as students work with several types of media to create a diverse portfolio. Students work with materials such as charcoal, watercolors, acrylic paint, digital art, clay, and so much more! Visual art students have numerous opportunities to participate in local and regional art competitions and also showcase their work in the annual CISD district show.
